THE GOLD CUP.

(ADVENTURE STORY)

Lara and Marco were brave explorers. They were in the jungle, searching for a gold cup that once belonged to an ancient king. The cup had been lost for a thousand years. 

Lara and Marco had a map. They trekked through the jungle, across dangerous volcanoes.

 "Marco", cried Lara, "watch out for the leopard!". 

They finally arrived at a lost city. "Look, there's a secret entrance", said Marco. The secret entrance took them to a dungeon, deep under the city. In the middle of the dungeon there was a stone with symbols on it. Marco and Lara pushed away the heavy stone and gasped as they saw the glittering, gold cup.
