THE MYSTERY OF THE GOLDEN CUP

(ADVENTURE STORY)

Lara and Marco were brave explorers. They were in the jungle, looking for a gold cup that belonged to an ancient king. The cup had been lost for a thousand years.

Lara and Marco had a letter. They walked through the jungle, through dangerous swamps. Marco screamed:  "Lara, be careful with the crocodile!"

Finally they reached a lost city. "Look, there is a secret entrance," said Marco.

The secret entrance led them to a temple, deep in the city. In the middle from the temple there was a stone with symbols on it. Marco and Lara pushed the heavy stone aside and gasped at the gleaming gold cup.
