THE LOST NECKLACE

(ADVENTURE STORY)

Lara and Marco were brave explores. They were in the jungle, searching for a gold necklace that once belonged to an ancient king. The necklace had been lost for a thousand years. 

Lara and Marco had a map. They trekked through the jungle, across dangerous bridges. "Marco", cried Lara, "watch out for the snake!"
 
They finally arrived at a lost city. "Look, there's a maze", said Marco. The maze took them to a tomb, deep under the city. In the middle of the tomb there was a stone with symbols on it. Marco and Lara pushed away the heavy stone and gasped as they saw the glittering, gold necklace.
