The gold shield

Adventure story 

Lara and Marco were brave explorer. They were in the jungle, searching for a gold shield that once belonged to an ancient king. The shield had been lost for a thousand years. Lara and Marco had a letter. They trekked through the jungle, across dangerous volcanoes. 'Marco,' cried Lora, 'watch out for the leopard!' They finally arrived at a lost city. 'Look, there's a maze; said Marco. The maze took them to a temple, deep under the city. In the middle of the temple there was a stone with symbols on it. Marco and Lara pushed away the heavy stone and gasped as they saw the glittering, gold shield.
